A major challenge identified on resumption of the Chairman of the RIRS was the process for issuing critical and frequently recurring tax documents such as revenue collector’s receipt, credit notes and tax clearance certificates. This was a slow and error-prone manual process that needed an immediate upgrade.
SAA was given the mandate to find a solution and in partnership with Bamtech developed a fast and user-friendly system that met the well-defined requirements of the Service in managing the process of issuing these recurring documents to tax payers.
This was delivered successfully and immediately reduced the time required to deliver documents to tax payers in addition to minimizing errors on the issued documents.
